Chris Kalin

Regional President, PNC Bank, North Florida

Chris Kalin is regional president of PNC Bank in North Florida which encompasses Jacksonville, Gainesville, Daytona Beach and Tallahassee. In this role, he is leading PNC’s corporate banking, retail banking and asset management growth strategy across the region. In addition, Kalin leads all sponsorship and philanthropic efforts to execute PNC’s community-based goals and initiatives.

Kalin is a Jacksonville native with nearly two decades of banking experience. His prior roles have largely involved the growth of new markets, including building teams in Los Angeles and Chicago before returning to Jacksonville. Kalin joined PNC in 2017 and helped lead the corporate banking efforts in North Florida prior to being named regional president in 2022.

Active in the community, Kalin currently serves on the board of directors of the Museum of Science and History, where he is the chair of the Strategic Planning Committee as the museum is undertaking a $150 million capital campaign as it transitions to a new location. He also serves on the executive committee of the JAX Chamber and is a member of the Jacksonville Civic Council where he is involved in the organization’s efforts regarding early childhood education. He is a member of the University of North Florida Coggin College of Business advisory council, YPO Florida and YPO International. In addition, he is a member of the Dreams Come True 40th Anniversary executive cabinet, serves as a Chicago Booth Ambassador, and spends time mentoring students from the University of North Florida, Thrive Scholars and colleagues at PNC Bank.

Recognized as a leader in the Jacksonville community, Kalin was named one of Jacksonville Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 and is a graduate of Leadership Jacksonville and Lifework Leadership. His international volunteer service has taken him to China, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, South Africa and Thailand.

Kalin received a degree in finance from the University of North Florida Coggin College of Business and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
